Betsey Johnson had designed a dress and the famous celebrity Katy Perry got a custom version of the dress. 

Betsey has overcome many obstacles in the fashion industry and for a celebrity to wear her dress is an amazing achievement. 

 A personal struggle for Betsey to overcome was her struggle with breast cancer or a professional obstacle to overcome like how she was highly criticized in the industry for her outrageous design, Betsey made her own set of rules and followed them. 

Her struggles only made her a better designer, it helped her to strive to do her best and has made her one of the most famous designers today. 
Betsey says how she shares her story to help encourage other cancer patients that anything is possible. 
Betsey says her favorite part of fashion is the people, pressure, and the surprises of seeing her designs come to life on the runway. She definitely is one of the most inspiring designers especially to me. 
One of Betsey's most famous quotes is "always have fun with fashion, dress to entertain yourself." 
Betsey may have crazy fashion sense but shes expressing herself and that is an inspiration to me.
